Natalie has organised several fundraising campaigns to raise money for healthcare and fun activities for the children. Here she tells us about her connection to Aishworya and provides some fundraising tips:

“When I first visited Aishworya in July 2011, I was really impressed with how the home operates and how the children were taken care of. Nirmala, Pramila and fellow volunteers have my utmost respect for putting together and sustaining a home for the children. It was always a pleasure to spend time with them, witnessing their growth. They have taught me more than I can imagine.

Each time I fundraise my main objective is to appeal to friends and family who have already heard about my volunteering stints with Aishworya. In addition to fundraisers, I will also invite friends to visit Nepal and get to know the children.

At the end of each fundraiser, I post thank you notes on social media to account for the amount raised and also create more awareness for Aishworya.

I have been really fortunate to have the trust and help of many during the fundraisers and I hope to continue my tradition of visiting Aishworya annually, to be there to witness the growth of the children.”
